You’ll receive confirmation of your unique lottery numbers, in the post along with confirmation of your first draw date. This may take up to 14 days.

Each entry costs just £1.

You must be 18 or over to play the Willen Hospice Lottery or Superdraws.

Your numbers are generated by a Random Number Generator and will be sent to you via email or post.

You can cancel your entries at any time by contacting the Willen Hospice Lottery team on 01908 303065, by emailing the team at lottery@willen-hospice.org.uk or writing to us at Willen Hospice Lottery Office, PO Box 653, Lancaster LA2 0XB. If you pay by Direct Debit or Standing Order please also remember to cancel your recuring payments with your bank.

If a lottery supporter is deceased, and a refund of remaining credits is not requested we would allow the lottery entry to continue to play out the remaining credits in the draws and issue any winnings via cheque to ‘The Estate of’.

The draws are held every Friday, except when a Friday falls on a bank holiday. The draw will then be held on the next working day.

The Rollover Jackpot is a draw that you’ll automatically be entered into each Friday. The Rollover prize increases by £200 each week, if it isn’t won and reaches £5,000, one lucky player will be guaranteed to win that amount.

You and your recipient must be 18 years or over. You will be given an opportunity to supply your own address as well as the named recipient’s details and to choose when and how they receive the tickets as a gift. You can purchase a gift as a one off or as a subscription. We have a selection of gift cards for you to choose from. There is no additional cost for the gift cards.

Yes, we operate in compliance with the Gambling Commission (the UK regulatory body concerned with lotteries) requirements, and the lottery is administered by a certified External Lottery Manager, StarVale Management & Technologies Ltd.

Using StarVale Management & Technologies Ltd as our External Lottery Manager allows us to gain expert advice on how to operate our lottery in the most efficient way. Giving us economies of scale and allowing us to raise more funds via the lottery which can then be used to provide free care and support to patients with life limiting illness and support for their families.

One entry in the lottery draw each Friday costs £1. Most months consist of four weeks but some have five. Rather than changing your direct debit payment each month, instead we round the monthly direct debit up to £5. This ensures you never miss a draw as there will always be money available for a fifth Friday, any excess credit that accumulates, will be used as Bonus Entries on the last Friday of the month.

By rounding up your monthly subscription you will receive Bonus Entries on the last Friday of the month when you have sufficient credit – helping us generate ever more vital income from the lottery to fund our care – also giving you more chances to win – it’s a win win!

Winners are notified by post, but should you wish to check the draw results, you can check them here or call our lottery helpline on 01908 303065.

When we send you a letter confirming your win, we will automatically include your winner’s cheque so there is no need to claim your prize!

If you bought a ticket in one of our shops, please check the posters in the shops detailing the winning numbers and then call the lottery office on 01908 303065 (Monday to Friday, 9am – 5pm) to claim your prize.

Any cheques remaining uncashed for over 6 months will be cancelled and the unclaimed lottery prizes will be treated as a donation to Willen Hospice.
